In a 2 quart saucepan cook butter brown sugar and corn syrup until it boils. Melt butter with brown sugar and corn syrup in a 2 quart glass bowl in the microwave for about 1 minute. Microwave again on high. Caramel puff corn 1 cup brown sugar 1 4 cup karo syrup 1 stick butter 1 bag puff. Microwave on high for 2 minutes then stir.
Boil for 2 minutes stirring constantly. Regular popcorn can be substituted for the puff corn. Take puff corn out and stir again in the bag. Pour caramel mixture over corn curls and stir until well mixed. Add the baking soda.
Cook for another 1 minute and 10 seconds. Roll down the top once or twice to close the bag and shake to coat the corn. Pour syrup over the popcorn in the bag. Boil brown sugar karo syrup and butter in microwave for 2 min. I make these in the microwave using same recipe but pouring the puff corn into a brown paper bag sprayed with pam pour caramel over the corn and shake the bag microwave 1 1 2 minutes take out shake then microwave another 1 1 2 minutes shake and pour out in waxed paper.

Pour popped corn into a large bowl and set aside. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Stirl well and continue cooking the caramel to 310 320 degrees. Put puff corn mixture in the microwave and cook on high for 1 1 2 minutes. Cook and stir for 2 minutes.
Pour over puff corn in brown paper bag. Stir in baking soda until mixture foams up. The caramel must get to hard crack stage. Combine butter brown sugar and light corn syrup in a microwave safe bowl. Put back in microwave and cook for another 1 1 2 minutes.
This will cause the mixture to foam. Place in 250 degree oven for 45 minutes. Microwave 3 4 min more. Microwave for 3 minutes i stir after every minute. Combine remaining ingredients except soda in a 2 quart microwavable bowl.

Place bag into the microwave and cook for 1 minute and 10 seconds. Pour over puff corn in brown paper bag. Pour popped corn into a large bowl and set aside. In a large bowl pour the whole bag of old dutch puffcorn in and pour caramel mixture over the top. Cook for another 1 minute and 10 seconds.
Watch it and when it begins to boil microwave 1 minute longer. Boil for 2 minutes stirring constantly. In a 2 quart saucepan cook butter brown sugar and corn syrup until it boils.
